Introducing... The Exits

Mixing synthesizers with rock is nothing new, but when a band comes along that does it so well, you can’t help but go back and listen again. And I predict that’s exactly what you’re going to do with The Exits. Having already had their debut single Neon City commissioned by MTV to feature on the next series of Dirty Sanchez, these lads from Portsmouth are clambering their way up through the underground music industry.

After US blog The Ripple Effect wrote that their first single was “the first great indie rock rave anthem of the new year… it just begs for the dance floor”, The Exits are back with a brand new double A-side featuring You Gotta Help Me Out and Trip. If their back catalogue of demos is anything to go by, this should be one of the best singles released in November 2009 and will be sure to mix punchy synth lines with indie guitars in a full-on ear assault!

To whet your appetite, listen below to The Fear Inside, a track that’s brimming with sweeping synthesizers and indie sensibilities.

The Exits’ double A-side, You Gotta Help Me Out/Trip is out in November 2009 via Criminal Records.
