T In The Park 2009

T in the Park is Scotland's biggest music festival, and every year attracts huge names along with digging out some great new talent. With big names such as Blur, Kings of Leon and Nine Inch Nails headlining various stages throughout the festival, we saw an ecclectic mix of rock and pop and everything in between. Full of controversy, for exmaple the rumour that Blur would in fact not appear due to unexpected illness, and good times, T in the park 2009 was a festival of highs and lows.

Trivia
*Established in 1994, T in the Park has been continuing strongly and growing every year.
*In 2006, due to the absence of Glastonbury, the festival sold out in under 10 minutes, attracting acts such as The Who, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Paul Weller, Kasabian and Primal Scream.
*Many bands who have appeared on the Futures Stage throughout the years have made it big, including The Fratellis (2006), Editors (2005), The Enemy (2007) and Glasvegas (2008).
*The festival expanded to 3 days in 2007, however access to the Friday line-up was only available to those with full weekend camping passes.
