Having recently been signed to This Is Fake DIY Records, Leeds-based electro band, Heads We Dance, are already making a name for themselves in the music world. Their shameless disco beats, combined with electro-pop melodies, are bound to become dance floor favourites in all the top clubs over the coming months. Already they are aiming for the top, doing more than justice to a cover of Kraftwerk’s “Computer Love” (downloads at well over 1 million and counting), and collaborating with artists like Little Boots in their endeavour to share their music with the world. The band’s previous single, energetic romp “The Human Touch”, sold out on its limited 12” release, as have many of their previous singles, including the corking “Love In The Digital Age”.
Heads We Dance are currently touring the UK, the details of which can be found on the band’s MySpace page (link at the bottom), and their debut album will be released in Spring 2009. Their future seems quite certain as being one of the hot acts of 2009, but for now it’s up to fate: tails they sing, heads we dance.
