Originally more of a electronic folk band but more recently leaning towards the folk rather than the electronica, Meursault (pronounced merr-zoh) hail from Edinburgh. Having received great reviews from the likes of the BBC, Pitchfork and The Skinny, Meursault have definitely made their mark on the Scottish, national and international music scene. Let's see what frontman Neil Pennycook picked for us to listen to.

This just amazing. It saddens me that there aren't multiple Chad VanGaalens. If there were I would buy every ticket for every show and listen to him harmonise with himself night after night.
Truly - Blue Flame Ford
No one knows who this band are. Seriously, NO ONE! I mean this less in a 'check-out-this-totally-obscure-band-that-I-discovered' way, more 'people are idiots'.
Pink Floyd - Interstellar Overdrive
Every mix tape/album/live show ever should end with this. It is a proven fact.
