The track opens with a single guitar riff, before exploding into a three-minute chunk of indie-rock brilliance; harmonised vocals seamlessly intertwining with pulsing drums and sing-along choruses. Be prepared to be humming this song for hours after your first listen. I Am Gonna Leave You, Fearless Vampire Killers’ debut single, arrives at the end of a year which has seen the band growing from strength to strength, even opening their own club night – The Ballet of Teeth.
